Skillet Chicken Parm

serving size: 1 chicken breast

Ingredients:  Nutrition Info:
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 cups marinara sauce*
4 tbsp butter
salt & pepper to taste
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
carbs: 10g
fiber: 2g
net carbs per serving: 2g

  1. Pound chicken breasts to even thickness for cooking.
  2. Season with salt & pepper.
  3. Fry chicken in hot pan with butter until golden brown and almost cooked through.
  4. Add 2 cups tomato sauce and simmer until chicken is cooked.
  5. Reduce heat and sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  6. Heat until the cheese is melted.

*I use Aldi’s Priano Tomato Basil Pasta Sauce. It has 7 net carbs per 1/2 cup serving. You can use your favorite pasta marinara sauce.
